Geraldine O’Sullivan

This collection comprises six previously unpublished stories from six emerging Irish writers, each voice echoing from a moment in time over the course of six decades.

Geraldine’s story ‘Elizabeth’, is set in 1999 when the dot-com bubble looms large in the States. When Father Pearce visits the parish and suggests investments in Silicon Valley the bishops go all in. However, when parish funds go missing all eyes are on the local priest Father Hyland. He and Elizabeth try to uncover the facts, but must overcome the Bull, the bishops and the local begrudgers.

The Ogham Stone was University of Limerick’s literary collection published annually. The 2023 edition includes Geraldine’s short story, Galway Bay.

Washing Windows III contains 100 new poems, selected by co-editor Alan Hayes, by women who have not yet published a full collection, with a stunning introductory essay by co-editor Nuala O’Connor.

This collection features Geraldine’s poem, Daughter of Dagda.

Running alongside the Shapes and Stanzas play produced by the UL Drama Society, the comedic sketch Two Shapes Walk into a Bar was developed by Geraldine and focused on the theme of identity. It ran for three nights at the Johnathan Swift theatre.
