Geraldine O’Sullivan

Geraldine O’Sullivan (Gio) is a writer based in Killarney, Co. Kerry. She enjoys exploring different forms of creative writing. Her short stories have appeared in the Listowel Writers’ Week winners’ anthology, The Ogham Stone journal, and The Decades short story collection.
Her story ‘Jane Doe’ was broadcast on Dublin Digital Radio. She wrote and produced the radio documentary ‘Irish Coffee Undressed’ and also worked on the ‘Best Possible Taste’ foodie podcast. She has collaborated on a number of projects with the Mindful Farmer, including a mindfulness soundscape at the Hearsay festival, and his memoir which came 2nd under the JG Farrell Award at the West Cork Literary Festival. Her poetry was published in Washing Windows III.
She completed a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick. During her time there she taught transition year students as part of the Creative Writers in the Community programme. She also featured on the Espresso Shot of Thought series and her sketch, Two Shapes Walk into a Bar, ran at the Johnathan Swift theatre.
She is working on her debut novel.
